all-state was amazing. i have never felt so happy performing music as i did then. walking on stage, i could not keep the smile off my face.
it was amazing to be surrounded by so many people who love music, who want to be there, and who are really, really, good. we sounded better than my youth orchestra after one rehearsal, and got to a level i had never attained in an orchestra before.
i loved every second of it.
oh how i wish i could get into film photography.
while my gr iv is treating me amazingly well, there’s just…something missing.
something i’m looking for, but can’t find.
maybe its the intentionality i need, or the feel of technology from times past.
something feels off.
i think conspiracy jazz should be a new genre, starting with Darcy James Argue’s Real Enemies, Tobias Hoffmann’s Conspiracy, and The Tommy Igoe Groove Conspiracy … i’m on the lookout for more music like this
