Corne 4.1

my Corne 4.1
After sitting through and taking notes on a Heimler’s History livestream for AP U.S. History, typing for several hours straight, I began suffering from wrist pain due to the angle my wrists had to be at to type on my mechanical keyboard at the time.
The Corne keyboard feels amazing to type on, both because of the ortholinear design and the ability to position that halves as I see fit.
specs
Switches I use Pale Green tactile switches (which I removed from my previous keyboard, the Royal Kludge R75. They have a 40g actuation force, satisfying tactile bump, and an amazing marbly sound.
I initially tried the Gateron Milky Yellow Pro linear switches, but I found the actuation of 50g to be a bit much, and I preferred the feel of a tactile switch.
Keycaps I use blank DSA profile keycaps, with homing keys (f and j) that are slightly deeper than the rest.
Firmware I use Vial, a QMK fork, and the vial.rocks web GUI to configure my keyboard.

Keychron K2
This was my first ever mechanical keyboard.
specs
Everything on this keyboard was stock. It came with Keychron’s Brown switches.
gripes
- The Bluetooth connectivity no longer functions
- The keycaps (being ABS) have worn away
- The keys are extremely wobbly
- The sound is very high-pitched and too clacky for my taste
